Thinner Teed

   Do you like funky, bluesy, jazzy, trance like, reggae influenced, rock and roll? Well, then let Thinner Teed take you on a ride through this kaleidoscope of musical genres. You will start on planet funk, then in the blink of an eye you will be on a jazzy spiral straight to the center of the reggaae nebula. Right when you start to get comfortable the ship will be leaving for bluesy trance jamville. We truly will make your faces ears and bodies melt with all the sounds of the beautiful musical galaxy.

   Thinner Teed is a group that is formed of five friends from high school, that got together to jam and play music. They began getting together regularly and creating songs and developing their style.  Over the years developed a sound that they can call their own. They have been playing together for years now, and are steadily finding their way along the map of rock & roll.

   The band has been playing in Chicago and its suburbs for the past three years entertaining crowds with its eclectic music style. They have been on the road across the Midwest including Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, playing numerous shows and festivals.  The band has an energy with it everywhere it goes, from the smallest dive to the festival stage, these guys know how to bring it.

   They play an eclectic Jam style that is collage of many musical genres. They find influence from jam, rock, reggae, funk, country, jazz, blues, and even classical music to create genre bending original music. Thinner Teed plays music that you’ve never heard before but in a familiar way.

   Thinner Teed has played with or shared the bill with acts like Willie Nelson, Moe., Umphreys McGee, Method Man & Redman, Keller Williams, Les Claypool, Cornmeal, Medeski Scofield martin & Wood, 56 Hope Rd, RAQ, Bassnectar, Dark Star Orchestra, Family Groove Co., Vince Herman & Great American Taxi, Girl Talk, That 1 Guy, EOTO, Lotus, Toubab Krewe, Fat Maw Rooney, Bucket Head, Back Yard Tire Fire, Los Lobos, and Mr Blotto to name a few.  They have also played numerous venues in the past including Summer Camp, Effit Fest, Michigan Peace Fest, Cave Fest, Blottopia, The Kinetic Playground, Goose Island Brewery, Illinois Brweing Co, Reggies Music Joint, The University of Wisonsin Stevens Point, The Annex, and Dirty Nellies.  Keep checking in to hear the newest music and find out the most recent show listings
